1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Meeting Drain does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. All data you enter into the calculator (number of attendees, hourly rates, elapsed time) is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage functionality.

1.2 Browser Data

The Service may access your browser's localStorage for the following purposes:

• Saving your current meeting state so it persists across page refreshes
• Remembering your dark mode preference

This data never leaves your browser unless you choose to share a meeting link (which contains only the meeting parameters as URL parameters).

1.3 Shareable Links

When you generate a shareable link, the meeting parameters (attendees, rate, currency, start time) are encoded in the URL itself. Anyone with access to that URL can view those parameters. We do not store or track shared links on our servers.

2. Information We DON'T Collect

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information
• IP addresses or location data
• Device fingerprinting information
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Cookies for advertising or tracking purposes

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Hosting

Meeting Drain is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for the purpose of providing hosting services and security. This is beyond our control and is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

3.2 No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising services. The Service contains no tracking scripts or advertising networks.

4. Data Storage and Retention

All data is stored locally on your device in your browser's localStorage. You can clear this data at any time by:

• Clicking the "Reset" button in the calculator
• Clearing your browser's localStorage/site data
• Using your browser's private/incognito mode (data is not persisted after the session ends)

5. Data Security

Since we don't collect or store data on our servers, there is no risk of data breaches from our end. However, please be aware that:

• Shareable URLs contain meeting parameters and should be treated as public if shared
• localStorage on your device can be accessed by anyone with access to your browser and device
• We recommend not sharing links with sensitive meeting cost information in public channels

6. Children's Privacy

Meeting Drain is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

8. Your Privacy Choices

To maintain maximum privacy:

• Use incognito/private browsing mode
• Clear your browser data after each session
• Don't share meeting links in public channels
